Magnets

MG Series magnets act as actuators for Hall-effect & MR sensor ICs with unipolar or omnipolar magnetic characteristics.

Bipolar Position Sensor ICs

Detect the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or electromagnet and respond to alternating poles (North and South).

Latching Position Sensor ICs

Latch on to an initial pole (North or South) until a magnetic field of sufficient strength of the opposite polarity is brought near the sensor IC.

Omnipolar Position Sensor ICs

Detect the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or electromagnet and respond to either pole (North or South).

Unipolar Position Sensor ICs

Detect the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or electromagnet and respond to a single pole (North or South).

Speed and Direction, Speed Sensor ICs

VM Series detect the speed, direction, and position of a ring magnet encoder target. VF401 senses fine pitch ring magnets. VF526DT provides both speed and direction output. VG481V1 detects the speed of a ferrous gear tooth target wheel.
