STOP USE NOTICE

Product: Miller® Turbolite™ + EDGE Cable Personal Fall Limiters (SRL) class 2 (ANSI) & CSA 

October 3, 2025

Dear Customer,

As part of our rigorous internal testing procedures, PIP | HSP Miller Fall Protection has identified and isolated a manufacturing issue related to a single Turbolite™ + EDGE Cable Personal Fall Limiter (SRL) class 2 (ANSI) produced on September 3, 2024 (Inspection Number: M242470361). Additional internal testing of our inventory has not revealed additional issues to date, and there have been no reports of accidents or injuries associated with this concern. Appropriate corrective actions have been implemented to help avoid such nonconformance in the future. As a visual aid we are adding a green dot to recertified units within the manufacturing date range stated in this notice (1- on the outside label of the box, 2- on the label of the actual housing of the unit) which are safe for use.  

PIP | HSP Miller Fall Protection is issuing an immediate stop use notice for all potentially affected Turbolite™ + EDGE Cable Personal Fall Limiters (SRL). Out of an abundance of caution, these products must be removed from service immediately to prioritize worker safety. 

Affected Products 

This stop use notice applies to all versions of the Turbolite™ + EDGE Cable Personal Fall Limiters (SRL) class 2 (ANSI) & CSA manufactured between May 1, 2024, and September 21, 2025. 

• Key Identifiers: Model name "TURBOLITE + EDGE Personal Fall Limiter" in lengths of 6 ft and 9 ft. 
• Serial Number Range: Units with manufacturing dates in the specified period (check the date code on the housing or label)

Instructions for Users/Owners 

Immediately Cease Use: Stop using all affected Turbolite™ + EDGE Cable Personal Fall Limiters (SRL) class 2 (ANSI) & CSA and remove them from service. Do not attempt to inspect, repair, or continue using these devices. 

Instructions for Distributors/Retailers 

Step 1: Inventory Check: Immediately review your stock and quarantine any Turbolite™ + EDGE Cable Personal Fall Limiters (SRL) class 2 (ANSI) & CSA 

Step 2: Notify Customers: Forward this notice to all customers who have purchased affected products from you. Emphasize the need for immediate compliance to ensure their safety. Provide support in facilitating returns if needed.
