WARNING! All recipients of this Mandatory Stop Use Notice must read, understand and follow all instructions carefully.

This stop use notice pertains to the Falcon Leading Edge Stainless Steel Self Retracting Lifeline that records indicate you have purchased.

While there have been no reported incidents due to this safety issue, Honeywell Personal Protective Equipment has issued this Mandatory Stop Use Notice because the use of the product could result in serious injury or death.

It has been determined through standard validation and testing processes, that some units of Falcon Leading Edge Stainless Steel Self Retracting Lifeline failed to meet sharp edge test, VG11 11.060, supplementary to EN360.2002. Therefore, Honeywell Personal Protective Equipment announces an immediate stop use of the Honeywell Miller Falcon Leading Edge Stainless Steel Self Retracting Lifeline.

A picture of a Falcon Leading Edge Stainless Steel Self Retracting Lifeline and the list of model numbers are provided in Table 1, identifying the products impacted by this safety notice.

The following information provides detailed instructions on immediate actions you are required to take:

• These products must be immediately removed from service/use and all inventory locations -and pending or planned sales transactions cannot be completed.

Instructions for Honeywell partners/distributors:

• Please immediately forward this safety notice to any of your customers/end-users who have purchased these products with an urgent request that they read and comply with this notice.
• Please ensure that your customers forward this safety information to their customers.
• Your customers/end users should return the impacted product to the place of purchase/authorised Honeywell distributor. You are responsible for providing any refund/credit (as applicable).
• Please contact Honeywell Customer Service to arrange the return/collection of the impacted products and obtain credit.
