Dear Honeywell Miller Customer,

WARNING! All recipients of this Mandatory Stop Use Notice must read, understand and follow all instructions carefully.  There is potential that you have purchased a Revolution Arc Flash Harnesses with Suspension Loops impacted by this stop use notice.  While there have been NO reported incidents due to this nonconformity, continued use of the product for arc flash protection could result in serious injury.

The Revolution Arc Flash Harnesses with Suspension Loops are fully compliant with the fall safety requirements of ANSI Z359.11.  However, the Suspension Loop components (Image Set 1) of this harness failed the ASTM F887 test.  It has been determined through this standard validation and testing processes, which are performed to guarantee the safety of our products, that there is a flame risk associated with the affixed suspension loop labels, as the materials used in those labels for the impacted models may ignite if exposed to an arc flash condition.  All other components of the impacted harnesses are compliant with the ASTM F887 requirements.

Honeywell Personal Protective Equipment announces an immediate stop use of the Honeywell Miller Arc Flash Harnesses with suspension loops outlined in Table 1 below, only if manufactured between June 30, 2020 and June 28, 2021.  You can confirm model number and manufacturing date by reviewing the label on the harness depicted in Image Set 2 below.

The following information provides detailed instructions on immediate actions you are required to take:

Products included in this notice must be removed immediately from service when used in arc flash applications.  Product ordered for welding, standard fall protection and for non-arc flash activities can still be used.

Please immediately forward this Notice to any of your customers/users who have purchased these products (in Table 1) between June 30, 2020 and June 28, 2021 with an urgent request that they read and comply with this Notice.
