Microlistics WMS

Microlistics Tier 1 WMS provides customers with an extremely flexible solution platform that can be implemented at a much lower TCO. Of the 4 WMS solution types offered, Express (simplest of the offerings) can be implemented within 35 days. Microlistics offers a tiered approach so clients can move easily on the same WMS platform from Express, to 3PL, to 3PL Chilled, and Enterprise. The Enterprise edition of Microlistics WMS can be implemented within 100 days.

  • Tier 1 Product Without the Tier 1 Cost. The Microlistics WMS provides their customers with a flexible, scalable solution that has a lower TCO as well as employs an architecture where speed to market is significantly quicker (project start date to go live) than other Tier 1 solution providers.
  • Chilled Capabilities. The Microlistics WMS platform for Chilled is specifically designed for manufacturers, 3PLs, and retailers who require perishable management (date-sensitive inventory tracking), production management, track and trace, temperature management, and billing management (cost to serve).
  • 3PL Commerce Solution. The Microlistics WMS platform is specifically designed for 3PL management, enables the 3PL operator to effectively support its clients, while tracking all cost-to-serve elements by the 3PL customer. This platform also offers ecommerce modules inclusive of pick pack (to order), kitting, preassembly/production, wave picking, and order management.
  • Enterprise Solution. The Microlistics WMS Enterprise edition is the Tier 1 solution where a customer can use one single application platform across multiple warehouse locations. Each location can be configured specifically for the environment and that warehouse. This solution is specifically designed for the complex operator. This Tier 1 solution supports advanced reporting/business intelligence, integration gateway, TMS, parcel management/cartonization, labor prediction, billing, ecommerce, production, and rules-based prioritization. It’s integrated to most major ERPs.
  • Billing Management. This feature in the Microlistics WMS tracks every single scan, move, and action in the warehouse back to the Microlistics WMS database, providing a comprehensive and detailed audit trail.
  • Order Management. The Microlistics WMS solution has various modules supporting unique requirements with regards to ecommerce and pick-pack-ship operations.
  • Cross Docking. Microlistics WMS supports the ability to speed up dispatch for urgent orders by automatically creating movements to cross dock from the receival bay. These tasks will take the place of the usual put-away to stock. Cross dock to backorders is also supported.
  • Bill of Material (BOM) and Kitting. A Bill of Materials (BOM) can be maintained in Microlistics WMS on an Individual product or Parent /Child Relationship to enable Kitting of various products. This functionality is configurable based on the requirement of the various site tasks and Microlistics WMS will cover known functionality requirements. The BOM can link multiple components and required quantities to a Master Product. The BOM can also be used when a Production or Kitting movement order is raised in Microlistics WMS. The operator can order the Master Product and Microlistics will automatically order the various components to be moved to the Production/Kitting location if required.
  • System-Directed Put-Away. The Microlistics put-away logic is central to helping improve warehouse efficiency. All pallets and cartons/units that have been received and confirmed into a receivals bay must be lifted and moved to a warehouse location. By ensuring that product is stored in the most suitable location – depending on characteristics such as order size and frequency, weight, temperature requirements, segregation from other products, etc., Microlistics WMS helps improve picking times, as well as minimizes potential for damages and wastage. The system takes into account the dimensions of locations (LWH) and products, as well as weight constraints. Microlistics WMS helps ensure that stock is put away to the most appropriate location. Microlistics WMS allows you to define the sequence locations selected for each product by defining a pick-face as well as a preferred zone hierarchy PZH. Rules for product put-away can be as general or as specific as required.
