HarvestDSD

buySecure

buySecure allows managing messages and images, associated to six different statuses of unique codes, used to identify each product and secondary packaging. It is an innovative 1-to-1 communication channel between manufacturers and consumers, as well as an effective tool for brand protection. Involving consumers in the process of verifying products’ authenticity, buySecure becomes a tool for generating real-time market data: to monitor sales; to propose innovative marketing initiatives before and after purchases; and to protect, know, and take care of consumers and retailers. buySecure: protects each product from counterfeiting; ensures control where and to whom each product is sold, until it reaches the consumer; is fully integrated with GS1 standards; ensures the manufacturer’s autonomy in deciding where and how to print and apply the codes and to manage in real time the individual codes’ content in any language; and allows the capture of consumer information at each code query.

  • Support in Implementation. buySecure is available integrated with the IDOM software solution. IDOM is a cloud-based production management system able to monitor, verify, analyze, and predict the behavior and maintenance needs of any manufacturing plant. Inline IDOM: a) Manages the printing of product unique codes, captures them, and checks production data; b) Manages the printing of carton unique codes, captures, and aggregates them with the unique codes of the products inside each carton (on the carton label, it is possible to print the unique codes of the products inside, including their position); c) Manages the printing of pallet unique codes, captures, and aggregates them with the unique codes of the cartons inside each pallet (on the pallet label, it is possible to print the unique codes of the cartons – and the products – inside, including their position); and d) Prepares exchange data files for any ERP.
  • Easy Integration. 3C System supplies full documentation to help ensure both buySecure system back-end and front-end can be easily integrated with customer’s software. The API is intended to integrate the buySecure system with any MES, WMS, ERP, CRM, and traceability system already used by manufacturers. The API is organized around REST and it has predictable, resource-oriented URLs, and uses HTTP response codes to indicate API errors. Built-in HTTP features, like HTTP authentication and HTTP verbs, are used and they are understood by off-the-shelf HTTP clients. The API supports cross-origin resource sharing, allowing other systems to interact securely with the API from a client-side web application. All request and response bodies are JSON encoded, including error responses.

Easy Parse for Automotive Parts

Honeywell’s EasyParseTM for automotive parts (AP) software plug-in parses barcode data on the parts components, assemblies, and modules used in the manufacturing of vehicles. EasyParse for automotive parts extracts set fields from barcode labels, enabling easy data collection for OEM manufacturers, automotive part suppliers, retailers, and dealer service departments. The automotive parts software plug-in is compatible with Honeywell 2D scanners.
