The Survivair 4000 Powered Air Purifying Respirator system incorporates the 4000 series full face mask and a battery powered blower/fan unit, delivering air through a replaceable filter into the face piece of the respirator. The increased pressure effect created by air in the face piece area reduces inward leakage and increases comfort. Sperian's mask mounted PAPR weighs just 1.67kg and features a powerful motor delivering air to the face piece at a flow rate of between 135 to 165 litres per minute. All full face pieces come standard with a speaking diaphragm to enhance wearer communication and feature a long-lasting battery pack with trouble-free recharging.
