Honeywell Celebrates National Safety Month: Creating a Safety-First Culture

June 1^st marks the beginning of the 25th National Safety Month. This annual observance focuses on raising public awareness of the leading safety and health risks, aiming to decrease the number of injuries and fatalities in the workplace and in the community.

Safety is more important than ever, as 2019 saw a 2% increase in the number of preventable deaths in the workplace, totaling 4,572. Observances such as National Safety Month are paramount to raising awareness about safety and health hazards and creating an environment where employers, workers, and organizations can put safety first.
