Fan Courier Deploys Honeywell Mobile Computers and Software to Help Meet Unprecedented Delivery Demands

With more consumers turning to online shopping, logistics services across Romania are facing unprecedented demand. In response, FAN Courier, Romania’s largest courier company, recently deployed more than 5,000 Honeywell rugged mobile computers to its delivery drivers and warehouse operators across the country, as part of an ongoing project to upgrade its operations with latest digital technologies.

FAN Courier is also using Honeywell’s Operational Intelligence Professional software, a centralized cloud-based platform that enables it to keep track of its new devices, manage their operational status and reduce unplanned downtime to give customers an even more trusted, reliable service.

Honeywell’s CT60 mobile computers and Operational Intelligence Professional software empower FAN Courier’s drivers to accurately schedule their drops, scan parcels and record signatures. The solution brings new functionality such as secure remote screen sharing and file transfer that enables FAN Courier to set new standards in the speed, data privacy and accuracy of its delivery schedules.

In addition, FAN Courier has also deployed Honeywell’s ScanPal EDA51 mobile computers for its warehouse personnel to drive productivity and accuracy of warehouse operations. Like the CT60 devices, Honeywell EDA51 devices run on the Android operating system and are also being centralized and managed using Honeywell’s Operational Intelligence platform.

FAN Courier has relied on Honeywell technologies across its operations for more than a decade. Alongside mobile computing, FAN Courier also uses Honeywell’s mobile printing systems for receipt printing, and its voice solutions to support hands-free operations across its logistics teams.
